Mountain Shuttles

1. Definitions

  • “We,” “us,” or “our” refers to Custom Kiwi Tours, the mountain shuttle service provider.

  • “You” or “passenger” refers to the individual booking our shuttle services.

 

2. Booking Process

  1. Reservations: All bookings are subject to availability. Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or via other communication channels.

  2. Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.

  3. Electronic Itinerary: If you have an electronic itinerary, provide the valid Reservation Order Number (RON) to the driver at the time of travel.

 

3. Shuttle Services

  1. Timings: Our shuttle services operate from Queenstown to Coronet Peak.

    • Morning slots:

      • 7:30 am departure (arriving at Coronet Peak by 8:30 am)

      • 9:00 am departure (arriving at Coronet Peak by 10:30 am)

    • Timings are guidelines and may vary based on individual pick-up locations and mountain conditions.

  2. Pick-Up Route:

    • For the 7:00 am Departure slot:

      • Arrowtown: First pick-up at 6:40 am

      • Frankton area: Pick-up at 7:10 am

      • Queenstown area: Pick-up by 7:30 am

      • En route to Coronet Peak or Remarkables: Pick-ups between 7:30 am and 8:15 am

    • For the 9:00 am Departure slot:

      • Arrowtown: First pick-up at 8:40 am

      • Frankton area: Pick-up at 9:10 am

      • Queenstown area: Pick-up by 9:30 am

      • En route to Coronet Peak or Remarkables: Pick-ups between 9:30 am and 10:00 am

 

4. Baggage and Liability

  1. Baggage: We provide a dedicated ski carrier on the exterior of the Van. Internal caged boot storage for snowboards and any miscellaneous equipment. Internal storage is limited, please contact us to confirm we have room for your required bags and equipment.  

  2. Delays: While we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary, delays due to unforeseen events (e.g., weather, traffic) may occur. Passengers must monitor such events and adjust travel plans accordingly.

 

5. Refusal of Carriage

We reserve the right to refuse carriage if:

  • Valid travel documents are not provided.

  • Services are acquired in violation of our policies.

  • Passengers are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Safety or comfort of other passengers or property is compromised.

 

6. Payment

  • Full payment is required before pickup and the shuttle's departure. A booking deposit will be required at the time of booking online, the remainder of the balance will be collected at the time of departure.

  • We accept cash, and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard). Service fees may apply.

 

7. Changes and Cancellations

  • Changes to bookings are subject to availability.

  • Cancellation policies apply; refer to our website for details.

  • Mountain delays are common and will be handled case by case. If service is interrupted or cancelled due to these unforeseen closures or delays we will offer a full refund.

  • Custom Kiwi Tours retains the full authority to cancel any service due to weather conditions, insufficient bookings, or unforeseen circumstances. Should such a situation arise, you have the option to reschedule or request a complete refund from Custom Kiwi Tours

 

8. Environmental Events

  • In cases of environmental or operational disruptions, we may not guarantee timely services. Passengers should monitor events and adjust travel plans accordingly.
